Mr. John M. Williams, Jr., 63, of Maxs Road, Schellsburg, died at 5:30 PM, Saturday, November 16th, 2013.
Mr. Williams, Jr. was born in Snake Spring Township on Saturday, September 30, 1950, the son of the late John M. "Max", Sr. and Marie K. (Teeter) Williams.
He is survived by Daughter- Melanie L. wife of Edward Karns, Jr., Bedford; Brother- Gary Williams, Greenbackville, VA; Sister- Bonnie M. L'Heureux, Ephrata; Sister- Georgia M. Williams, Schellsburg and by four grandchildren, Ryan, Devon, Logan and Braden. He was preceded in death by brothers, Ronald and Donald and by a sister, Linda Moffatt.
John was a 1968 graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School and served in the US Army Reserve. He was a self-employed truck driver and also drove bus for Bollman Charter Service. John was a member of the Bedford American Legion Post #113.
Graveside Services will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Schellsburg Cemetery with Pastor James Neatrour officiating.
