John William Valiton

Mr. John William Valiton, 51, of Rose Road, Schellsburg, passed peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, March 22nd, 2018 at his home.

Mr. Valiton was born in Snake Spring Township on January 25, 1967,  he was the son of  William and Constance (Belanger) Valiton of Schellsburg.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by  Daughter- Samantha L. Schofield, East Freedom; Son- David W. Valiton, Manns Choice; Daughter- Cortney L. Valiton, Manns Choice; Son- Miles J. Valiton, Manns Choice; Grandson- Waylon; Sister- Linda Haney, Bedford; Sister- Sharon Hershberger, Schellsburg; Sister- Virginia Watkins, Statesboro, GA; Brother- Robert Valiton, Johnstown; Sister- Deborah Valiton-Carnish, Elizabethtown.

John was employed as a mechanic at 96 Auto Sales in Manns Choice.  He had a great love for learning and enjoyed the outdoors, sunsets and singing.  He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  Above all else, John loved his family and was a devoted son and father.  .

A memorial service will be held at Spring Meadow Family Worship Center, New Paris. at 10:30 AM on Monday, March 26th, 2018 with Pastor Randy Brant officiating.

Friends are invited to call on Monday from 10:00 - 10:30 AM at the church in New Paris.
