Mr. John A. Stockenus, 60, of Old Rt. 30, Manns Choice, died at 9:48 AM, Tuesday, December 11th, 2012 at his home,
Mr. Stockenus was born in Bedford on Monday, October 6, 1952, the son of the late John S. and Florence Stockenus.
He is survived by Son- John A. Stockenus, Jr. husband of Laura (Fritz), Berlin; Former Wife - Darlene McCloskey, Bedford. He is also survived by two grandchildren, John C. Stockenus and Kayla Ann Stockenus.
John was affiliated with the Tulls Hill Bible Church. He was a retired truck driver and also worked in construction. .
A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 13th, 2012 with Pastor Dan Campbell officiating.
Interment will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park.
Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the Louis Geisel funeral home.
