Joanne (Hillegass) Chamberlain

Joanne  Chamberlain, 73, of Lincoln Highway, Everett, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Shadyside Hospital, Allegheny County.

Mrs. Chamberlain was born in New Baltimore, PA on August 10, 1947,  daughter of the late Lester D. "Brig" and Frances E. "Toni" (Suttmiller) Hillegass.

On November 16, 1968 in La Vale, MD  Joanne married  Gerald L. Chamberlain.  Together they shared 52 years of wedded bliss.

In addition to her husband she is survived by Son- Dale husband of  Christy (King) Chamberlain, Everett; Daughter- Katrina wife of  Jamie Eberly, Harrisonburg, VA; Daughter- Rene' Chamberlain and significant other Michael Snyder, Everett; Grandchildren Andrew, Grace, Allison, Emily and Ethan; Brother- Paul husband of  Donna Hillegass, York.

Joanne was a 1965 graduate of Chestnut Ridge Hight School.

She was of the Catholic Faith.

Joanne enjoyed racing with her husband and being his traveling companion as they traveled all over for him to race. She enjoyed boating on their boat with family and friends, she had a passion for flowers and gardening as well as ceramics and she greatly enjoyed crafting with her granddaughters. During the summer months Joanne loved spending time at her swimming pool.

Joanne was an amazing and dear wife, mom, nan,  and friend and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

Friends will be received for a visitation on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 10AM-1PM where a Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00PM at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Everett with Father Derek Fairman- Celebrant.

Memorial contributions may be made to Gerald L. Chamberlain,  14204 Lincoln Highway, Everett, PA 15537 to help with Funeral expenses.
