Mr. Jay  A. Fisher, 67, of Bunker Hill Road, Central City, died at 8:50 PM, Wednesday, August 31st, 2011 at his home.

Mr. Fisher was born in Napier Township on Wednesday, February 23, 1944,  the son of the late Lloyd S. and Dora V. (Ferguson) Fisher.

He is survived by  Son- Douglas J. husband of  Gail (Snyder) Fisher, Central City; Daughter- Annette Lee wife of  Terry  Myers, Schellsburg; Son- William John Fisher and fiancé Jackie Hinson, Central City; Son- Shannon W. husband of  Theresa (Grossick) Fisher, Central City; Sister- Jean  Clark-Kagarise, Centerville. He is also survived by ten grandchildren. He is also survived by his companion, Betty Bonus of Central City and her children; Helen Kalanish, Ronald Hagans, Paula Shaw, Debra Walerysiak, Russell Hagans and Michael Hagans. And her eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Jay was a self employed truck driver and the owner of Fishers Gulf at Reels Corner for 24 years.  He retired from R.A. Monzo Construction in Latrobe where he worked as a mechanic.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements entrusted to Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.
