Janice M. (Clemons) Rhodes

Mrs. Janice M. Rhodes, 58, of N. Railroad Street, Everett, died at 11:25 AM, Friday, April 1st, 2011 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Rhodes was born in Woodstock, VA on Saturday, August 16, 1952, the daughter of the late James Lake and Mabel (Stokes) Clemons.

On November 12, 2005, she married Joseph L. Rhodes, Jr. In addition to her husband she is survived by Daughter- Connie M. Thompson, Everett; Daughter- Virginia Foor, Everett; Daughter- Sherry Dishong, Everett; Son- Clyde "Sonny" Dishong, Jr., Everett; Daughter- Vicki Kruse, Everett; Daughter- Jennifer Hill, Everett; Step Daughter- Tammy Ensminger, Bedford; Step Son- William Rhodes, Erie. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. She is also survived by four sisters, two brothers and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, James "Bo" Lake.

Janice was a homemaker who enjoyed camping and music. She was a NASCAR fan and like to watch Gunsmoke and Days of Our Lives. Janice will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was grateful to her caretakers; sister, Pam Rhodes, granddaughter, Christy Foor and her friend, Suzie Rose for the kindness and love they gave to her.

A funeral service will be held at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Raystown Road, Everett at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 5th, 2011 with Rev. Curtis Bryant officiating.

Interment will be held at Rock Hill Church Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
