Mrs. Jane E. Manges, age 86, of Colonial Courtyard, Bedford, died at 3:15 PM, Wednesday, July 22nd, 2015 at Pennknoll Village.
Mrs. Manges was born in New Paris on Saturday, December 8, 1928, the daughter of the late Winter "Splint" and Marie "Pete" (Mock) Cuppett.
She is survived by Daughter Kathie L. wife of Paul Hansen, Schellsburg; Son- Gregory E. "Gregg" husband of Barbara (Ferry) Manges, Roaring Spring; Daughter- Stacey J. wife of Robert "Rupert" Lepley, Bedford. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Kristie D. (Bardell) Foor of Bedford, Sean T. Bardell and girlfriend, Meghan Wise of Bedford, Shaina M. Musselman, wife of James, Roaring Spring, Bree McCahan wife of Matt, Roaring Spring & Coltt W. Lepley, Bedford, and three great grandchildren, Addison Foor, Keely Musselman & Easton Bardell & by two step great grandchildren, Madison & Nathan Musselman. Jane was formerly married to the late Edmund Lee Manges. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Onstead and a brother-in-law, Merle Onstead.
Jane was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ in Bedford. She was the owner of both Reta's Gift Shoppe and Jane's Gift Shop and was the site manager for the Bedford & Chaneysville Offices of the Area Agency on Aging. Jane was also a volunteer and on the board for the Salvation Army.
A funeral service will be held at St. John;s United Church of Christ, Bedford at 12 Noon on Friday, July 24th, 2015 with Pastor Joe Puleo officiating.
Interment at Cuppett Cemetery, New Paris.
