James "Jay" "JJ" Petrou, Jr.

James "Jay"  "JJ"  Petrou, Jr., 48, of Hickory Bottom Road, Woodbury, died after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Mr. Petrou was born in Hollidaysburg on June 7, 1972, son of the late James "Jim" Petrou and Sherri (Bookwalter) George.

On April 10, 1993 Jay married Tammy (Mortimore) Petrou.

In addition to his wife he is survived by Son- Tyler J. Petrou and girlfriend Amanda Fulton, Woodbury; Son- Jonathan T. Petrou. and fiancé Viri Padilla, Woodbury; Father and Mother-in-law John E. and Sandra Mortimore, Bedford and The "Aunts".

Jay worked at Hoss's for 33 years and was a member of the Cove Lions Club. He enjoyed camping, going to Bristol with the guys, golfing, and supporting his boys in their many activities.

Due to covid a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
