Mr. James Edward Yingling, III, 35, of Sunset Lane, Alum Bank, passed away at 2:25 PM, Sunday, December 8th, 2013 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.
James was born in Bedford on Saturday, July 1, 1978, the son of James Edward Yingling, Jr . of Bedford County and Sheila G. (Corle) Nicolini wife of Philip of Osterburg.
On January 31, 2013, he married Nadia H. (Ibrahim) Yingling. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by Son- Bryce C. Yingling, 13, at home; Son- James E. Yingling, IV, 11, Osterburg; Daughter- Sirayna Anne Foulk, 11, Bedford; Daughter- Jasmine E. Yingling,6, at home; Son- Jordan A. Yingling, 3, at home; Sister- Sherry wife of Jeff Friday, Cessna; Paternal Grandmother- Melda Yingling, Osterburg; Maternal Grandmother- Twilet Corle, Osterburg; Step Brother- Seth Robinson, Bedford; Step Sister- Tabitha Quinn, Altoona; Step Brother- Paul James Nicolini, Honesdale; Step Brother- David Nicolini, Altoona; Step Brother- Frank Nicolini, Georgia; Step Brother- Philip Nicolini, Altoona. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James Edward Yingling, Sr., his maternal grandfather, Sheldon Corle and by his aunt, Jerri Weyant.
James was a member of the Solid Rock Christian Fellowship in Bedford. He owned and operated a car lot and was a talented mechanic; working on cars, motorcycles, 4-wheelers. He could fix, paint, rebuild and refurbish almost anything with an engine.
James was also very involved in local athletics. He played in the Everett Adult Football League and in the Adult Basketball League at both ProCare in Bedford and in Cumberland. James also coached football at the Chestnut Ridge Middle School and was a snowboarder and street and dirt biker.
When James was not working on cars or playing sports, he was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and 4-wheeling. James was a very social person who loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the Bedford Moose Lodge and could be found twice a week shooting pool. James also was the grill master among his friends and took great pleasure in entertaining at his home and feeding his loved ones.
James will be remembered as a family man and a person who found great joy in helping anyone he could. He was an amazing husband, an awesome father, a loving brother and a dedicated son. For James, life was about having fun and enjoying every moment. His legacy will live on through his children and all those that he was able to help to live richer, fuller lives.
A Memorial Service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 6:00 PM on Saturday, December 14th, 2013 with Pastor Wayne Magruder officiating.
