James S. Strenski, 78, of Valley Road, Schellsburg, PA passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at UMPC Altoona, Blair County.
Mr. Strenski was born on February 9, 1944, in Cairnbrook, PA, son of the late Peter and Susan (Fatich) Strenski.
On July 3, 1981, Jim married Eva Mae (Allison) Strenski, she preceded him in death on January 14, 2018.
Jim is survived by son- Brent husband of Jamie Strenski, New Paris; daughter- Vee Ann wife of Dennis Boone, Somerset; grandsons- Chad husband of Jamie Feaster, Lake Charles, LA; Scott husband of Andrea Feaster, Altoona, Matthew husband of Misty Claar, Alum Bank and granddaughter- Caitie Miller, 8 great grandchildren, brother- John Strenski, Cairnbrook and special friends- Bob and Sherri Terek, Norman and Susan Williams and Boots Miller. He was preceded in death by infant son- James, stepdaughter- Lori and son-in-law- David Claar.
Mr. Strenski proudly served his county in the US Army during Vietnam. He then furthered his career and worked for the FBI in Washington, D.C., U.S. Steel Johnstown Corporation he then retired from creative Pultrusions in 2004.
Friends and family may call on Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.
A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at 2PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg with Reverend Rick Ralph officiating.
Interment at Mount Union Cemetery, Lovely, PA
Military Rites accorded by Fort Bedford Honor Guard.
