James B. Heidorn

James B. Heidorn, 78, of S. West Street, Bedford died Thursday, November 26, 2020 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.

Mr. Heidorn was born in Alum Bank on December 19, 1941, son of the late Leroy and Ruth (Callihan) Heidorn.

On July 27, 1963 James married Dorothy (May) Heidorn. She preceded him in death on November 18, 1987.

He is survived by  Son- Scott Heidorn, Bedford; Son- Steve husband of  Jackie (Lantz) Heidorn, Bedford; Daughter- Elizabeth wife of  Kevin Brallier, Everett; Grandchildren Bridget and Benjamin; Great-Granddaughter Lydia; Sister- Shelva Manges, New Paris; Brother- Alan Heidorn, Windber.  James was preceded in death by brothers Ronald and Larry Heidorn.

James was an owner-operator truck driver. He was part of the Teamsters Trucker Union, Bedford Moose Post 480, and loved hunting, fishing and cooking.

A Graveside Service will be held at St. James Lutheran Church, Bedford at 11:00AM on Monday, December 7th.
