James F. Fisher

James F. Fisher, 81, of Diehl Road,  Bedford died Monday, June 17, 2019 at UPMC Altoona Hospital, Altoona.

Mr. Fisher was born in Shade Twp. Somerset County on January 5, 1938,  son of the late Clarence "CAD" F. and Elsie G. (Diehl) Fisher.

On July 1, 1961 James married Adrienne L. (Wertz) Fisher. She preceded him in death on January 17, 2019.

He is survived by  Daughter- Debra K. wife of  Thomas Mardula, Lilly; Son- Timothy C. husband of  Molly (Herres) Fisher, Manns Choice. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. James was preceded in death by Daughter- Barbara Replogle, Sister- Betty Shaffer and Brother- Terry Fisher.

James served in the U.S. Army Air Force as a A/1C (P) from 1956-1960.

He worked as a  Mechanic for 30 years at Standard Register in Bedford.

James was a member of Manns Choice United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Bedford Antique Auto Club.

Friends will be received on Thursday, June 21, 2019 for 4-7PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.

A Funeral Service will be held  at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 10:30AM on Friday, June 21, 2019  with Pastor James Golla officiating.

Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Manns Choice.
