Jacob W. Redinger

Jacob (Jakie) W. Redinger, 75, of Hollidaysburg, formerly of Bedford and Clearville, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 23, 2024 at Maybrook Hill Nursing Center, Altoona, PA.

The son of the late Paul (Dave) E. and Edith Means Redinger, Jakie was born September 30, 1949 with physical and intellectual disabilities. He attended Mann-Monroe Elementary School, Clearville, Pa. Although he was intellectually challenged, Jakie was smart as a whip with numbers.

Jakie and his parents lived on his mother’s family farm in Monroe Township. After an automobile accident that left his mother unable to care for Jakie, he lived in residential facilities and nursing home until his death.

He was preceded in death by an aunt, Grace Nycum.

A graveside service will be held at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Clearville, Pa officiated by Lay Speaker, Robert Roland.

Interment will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Clearville, PA.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Jakie to the Zion Lutheran Church in care of Robert Roland, 6265 Clear Ridge Road, Clearville, PA 15535.
