Isabell M. Martin

Ms. Isabell M. Martin, 89, of Wills Road, Manns Choice, died at 10:40 PM, Tuesday, January 27th, 2015 at Pennknoll Village.

Ms. Martin was born in Harrison Township  on Monday, May 4, 1925,  the daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Wertz) Martin.

Isabell is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, great great and great great great nieces and nephews who considered her as more of a grandmother than an aunt.  She was preceded in death by two sisters, Sarah Carlson & Gladys Custer and by a brother, Joseph Martin Sr.

Isabell was a member of the Manns Choice Church of God.  She was a lifelong farmer and a former cook at the Howard Johnson's Restaurant at the Midway Plaza.

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 30th, 2015 with Rev. Richard Whetstone officiating.

Interment will be held at Milligans Cove Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Friday from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at the funeral home in Schellsburg.

Isabell loved her animals. And to honor that love, we asked that memorial contributions be made in memory of her to the Bedford County Humane Society, 1108 Lutzville Road, Everett, PA 15537.
