Irving L. Saylor, Jr., 72, Central City, passed away Friday, July 17, 2020 at home after a 2 year battle of cancer.

Mr. Saylor was born July 5, 1948 in Meyersdale, son of the late Irving L. Saylor, Sr. and Julia (Dietle) Saylor.

Irv graduated from Meyersdale High School in 1966. He was retired from Fleetwood Folding Trailers. After retiring he worked 10 years as a guard at North American Hoganas, Holsopple.

He is survived by wife Debra (Weyant) Saylor of 46 years; son- Matthew Saylor; sisters- Linda Shirley and Donna Saylor both of North Carolina; sisters-in-law- Pam Weyant, Central City and Mary Weyant, Windber; niece-Ethny Brehm (Justin) and nephews- Michael Weyant (Paige), Chad Shirley (Kathy) and Adam Shirley; 5 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew. Irving was preceded in death by young nephew- Michael Brant, and brothers-in-law- Michael Weyant and Frankie Shirley.

Irv was a member of Pentecostal Tabernacle Assemblies of God Church, Central City, where he served as Sunday School Superintendent and Treasure for over 33 years.

At Irv's personal request funeral arrangements are private. He also requested in lieu of flowers friends and family could make donations to the Sunday School Fund Pentecostal Tabernacle, P.O. Box 10, Central City, PA 15926. Irv's 3 loves were God, his family and his church; especially Sunday School.
