Irene C. (Lohr) Smith

Irene C. Smith, 97, of Donahoe Manor Road, Bedford formerly of Tulls Hill Road died Friday, April 3, 2020 at Donahoe Manor, Bedford.

Mrs. Smith was born in Napier Twp. on August 5, 1922,  daughter of the late E. Lemuel and Catherine (Berkey) Lohr.

On July 11, 1946 she married Clarence Oscar Smith. He preceded her in death on April 17, 1964.

She is survived by  Daughter- Ada C.  widow of  Carl Ferguson, Bedford; Son- Carl "Butch" B. husband of  Vickie (Maghee) Smith, Oxford, GA; Son-in-law John Conover, Bedford; Grandson- Christopher Conover; Granddaughter-  Amanda Smith; Granddaughter-  Julie wife of  Derek Chastain; Great-grandchildren Arianna, Megan, Chase, Haley and Will; Great-great Granddaughter Emma; Numerous Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews and Great-great Nieces and Nephews.  Irene was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Daughter- Janet Conover, 3 Brothers- Ivan, Carl and Earl Lohr and 3 Sisters- Keturah Turner, Edna Bussard and Marie Hiner.

Irene was a housewife.

She was affiliated with Tulls Hill Bible Church, Bedford.

Due to the Pandemic Crisis visitation will be private.

A Private Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg with Pastor Dan Campbell officiating.
