H. Virginia (Carl) Beegle
February 19, 1916 — June 10, 2012
Mrs. Beegle was born in Bedford on Saturday, February 19, 1916, the daughter of the late Allen and Nora (Rose) Carl.
On December 27, 1935, she married Dale Shannon Beegle. He preceded her in death on February 14, 1982, ending a marriage of over 43 years.
She is survived by Son- Robert husband of Patricia (Calhoun) Beegle, Bedford; Son- Randy husband of Sharon (Cornell) Beegle, Bedford; Daughter-in-Law- Joan (Fetters) Beegle, Bedford; Son-in-Law- Bernard J. Rock, Bedford; Brother- Donald Carl companion of Faye, Breezewood. Virginia is also survived by 12 grandchildren and numerous, great, great-great and great-great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by children, Nancy Rock, Carl Beegle and Sally Beegle and by a grandson, Kevin J. Rock, and four sisters, Alene Laseke, Mary Casteel, Maxine Turner and Louise Stiffler.
Virginia was a stay at home mother and homemaker until her children graduated from school, then she worked at the Everett TV Cable Office. She was a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, with Rev. Paul Claycomb officiating.
Interment will be held at Bedford Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 6:00 - 9:00 PM and on Thursday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
