Henry E. Leppert

Mr. Henry E. Leppert, 73, of Crissman Road, New Paris, died Monday, August 14th, 2017 at Pennknoll Village.

Mr. Leppert was born in Yatesboro on July 8, 1944,  the son of the late Earl H. and Leona (Fleegle) Leppert.

On May 24, 1963, he married Carol J. (Hoover) Leppert.

In addition to his wife he is survived by Son- Thomas husband of Lori Leppert, New Paris; Son- William husband of Amanda Leppert, Dover, DE; Son- Troy husband of Karen Leppert, Schellsburg; Daughter- Brenda Leppert, New Paris; Sister- Ellen Mitchell, Alum Bank; Sister- Audrey Faulders, Edwardsville, IL; Sister- Carol Sigler, Midland, TX; Sister- R. Jane Smith, Schellsburg; Sister- Margaret Robertson, Manns Choice; Nephew- Paul Leppert, Osterburg. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant sister, June, brothers, Robert and Harry and a sister, Annette.

Henry was a carpenter by trade.  He was a talented baker and the sweet rolls and apple dumplings that he made for his friends were as special as the man who made them.    Henry was a loving  husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and he will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 19th, 2017 with Pastor Dan Oldham officiating.

Interment will be held at Fishertown Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Geisel Funeral Home in Schellsburg.
