Mrs. Helen V. (Locke) Foor, 89, a resident of Donahoe Manor, formerly of Everett, died Saturday, April 1st, 2017.
Mrs. Foor was born in Hopewell on Saturday, April 23, 1927, the daughter of the late George K. and Esther (Dodson) Locke.
On December 26, 1947, she married Franklin T. Foor, Sr. He preceded her in death on August 20, 2003.
She is survived by Daughter- Jill Foor, Everett; Daughter- Jacquelyn Dinnocenti, Everett. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Rick (Buffy), Rebecca (Kris), Barry (Annie), Brooke (Justin), Brian, Brenda (Steve), Crystal (Ed) and Cassie, seventeen great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sons, Rickie Marl Foor, Sr. & Frank T. Foor, Jr., her son-in-law, Robert "Dino" Dinnocenti, her daughter-in-law, Debra Foor, her two brothers, Delford "Bud" and Kenneth and her six sisters, LaVerne, Eva, Olive, Gladys, Jean, Annabelle.
Helen was a member of the First Christian Church in Everett, where she sang in the choir and was a part of the Willing Workers Class. She owned and operated the Dairyland Restaurant and was the cafeteria supervisor for the Everett Area School District. Helen also worked as a DOM care provider for 30 years. She enjoyed cooking and gardening and she especially loved her family and treasured any time she spent with them. Helen was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and she will be missed dearly.
A funeral service will be held at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Everett at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 5th, 2017 with Rev. Robert R. Robertson officiating.
Interment will be held at Everett Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 5:00 - 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the Geisel Funeral Home in Everett.
