Harry E. Spiker, 82, of Pennknoll Road, Everett formerly of McCreary Road, Schellsburg died Friday, November 27th, 2020 at Pennknoll Village, Snake Spring Twp.,.
Mr. Spiker was born in Napier Twp., on January 12, 1938, son of the late Viola Spiker and Step-father William Cogan. Harry was reared by his Grandparents- Harry and Alberta (Clites) Spiker.
On September 26, 1959 he married Nancy P. (Mickel) Spiker. She preceded him in death on July 30, 1998.
He is survived by Daughter- Connie S. wife of Mike Keller, Schellsburg; Daughter- Shelby (Spiker) M. wife of Greg Spiker, Alum Bank; Daughter- Tammy L. wife of David Amick, New Paris; 7 Grandchildren Jamie, Ryan, Danny, Jared (Jess), Matt, Bradley and Corey; and one great-grandchild on the way and Sister- Katie Beck, Everett.
Harry was affiliated with Helixville United Methodist Church.
He worked as a Mechanic at Thomas Chevrolet of Bedford, as a Pressman at Standard Register and later retired from Walmart where he was a greeter and stockman.
Harry served in the Pennsylvania National Guard.
Along with his wife Harry was very active in the Shawnee Valley Ambulance Company.
Harry was an avid hunter and greatly enjoyed hunting turkey, he also enjoyed fishing. He served as Deputy Game Warden.
A Funeral Service will be held at a later date.
Interment at Helixville Cemetery.
