Harry C. Karns

Harry C. Karns, Jr., 63, of Quezon City, Philippines, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Quezon City General Hospital.

Mr. Karns was born in Bedford on May 23, 1957,  he was the son of the late  Harry C. Karns and Therese K. (Hickey) Karns who survives him of Bedford.

He was the widower of Norma  (Merwa)  Karns, she preceded him in death in January 2016.

In addition to his mother Therese K. (Hickey) Karns, Bedford, he is survived by  Daughter- Katie Karns-Simmons wife of  Chase Simmons she is currently serving in the U.S. Navy; Daughter- Shelia Karns, Quezon City, Philippines; Son- William A. Karns, Quezon City, Philippines; Sister- Kathy wife of  Jeff Wright; Sister- TerryAnn wife of  Marty Runion; Brother- John Karns; Sister- Kim Karns and several nieces and nephews.  Harry was preceded in death by wife- Norma (Merwa) Karns, daughter- Veronica Grace Karns and sister-Gail Ann Karns.

Harry was a 1975 graduate of Bedford High School. He then served 7 years in the U.S. Army and 13 years in the National Guard.

He was a member of  Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Quezon City, Philippines.

Due to Covid-19 a Private Service will be held at a later date.
