H. Edward Sarver

H. Edward Sarver, 66, of Lincoln Highway,  Manns Choice died on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.

Mr. Sarver was born in Bedford on February 28, 1954  son of the late Herbert R. and Nellie (Strait) Sarver.

On June 2, 1978 Edward married Debra K. (Dickinson)  Sarver.

In addition to his wife he is survived by Sister- Betty M. wife of  Gerry Hershberger, Bedford; Brother- Ray W. husband of  Joyce Messersmith, McCutchenville, OH; Sister- Linda K. wife of  James Webster, Tiffin, OH; Sister- Jayne J. wife of  Tim Morris, Bedford. Ed was preceded in death by his nephew- Chad Webster and great-nephew- Jacob Hershberger

He was a Mechanic at Shawnee State Park and also worked for the Manpower Program.

Mr. Sarver was a member of Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church, New Paris.

He enjoyed restoring tractors and attending tractor shows with his friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church, New Paris at 11:00AM on Thursday, August 13th,  with Pastor Daniel Oldham officiating.

Interment at Schellsburg Cemetery.
