Grace C. (Colyer) Hershberger

Mrs. Grace C. Hershberger, 93, of Bedford, died at 8:50 AM , Tuesday, July 9th, 2013 at Windber Hospice, Windber.
Mrs. Hershberger was born in Shade Gap, Pennsylvania on March 27, 1920. She was the daughter of the late John and Bertha (Jones) Colyer.
She was the widow of Charles Hershberger, whom she married on January 20, 1951 and he preceded her in death on September 30, 1985.
She is survived by daughter- Marlene L. Todaro, Bedford; daughter- Donna L. wife of Don Wiglesworth, Winston, MO; daughter- Jane E. wife of Frank Antonson, Bedford; daughter- Jessie A. wife of Edwin Pruszynski, Bedford; son- Charles W. husband of Juleen (Daughtery) Hershberger, Bedford; brother- Whitey Colyer, Three Springs; brother- Bill Colyer, Shade Gap; sister- Lil Miller, Shade Gap; sister- Maxine Mellot, McConnellsburg. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five sisters-Annabella Lake, Mable Crotsley, Louise Smith, Jessie Price, and Ruth Myers, and four brothers-Russell, Curt, Clair, and Earl Coyler, and an infant grandson-Donald Banner.
Grace was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church, Bedford, the Bedford Grange for 40 years, and a former member of the Bedford American Legion Ladies Auxiliary for 53 years. She was a homemaker.
A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, at 11:30 AM on Saturday, July 13th, 2013 with Pastor Donna Wolfinger officiating.
Interment at Messiah Lutheran Church Cemetery, Bedford.
Friends are invited to call Friday 2-4 and 7 - 9 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.
