Gladys L. ((Oliver)) Dehmcke

Gladys L. Dehmcke, 97, of Forbes Road, Bedford, died at 5:40 AM, Monday, October 22nd, 2018 at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home. Mrs. Dehmcke was born in Staten Island, NY on May 18, 1921; she was the daughter of the late Alton and Edwina Oliver.
Gladys was employed as a Secretary in New York City for several different Wall Street Stock Brockage companies including Bache & Company.
Mrs. Dehmcke enjoyed ceramics, needle work and playing the organ. She also had a love for cats and other animals. Gladys was a member of the Salvation Army.
She was the widow of Foster E. Dehmcke whom she married on December 23, 1942.
Mrs. Dehmcke is survived by Son- Gary F. husband of Alyson (Rubin) Dehmcke of Bedford. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Collin and Bryn.
Gladys is preceded in death by Brother George and Sister Grace

Private interment will be held at Bedford Cemetery. Arrangement entrusted to Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.
