Geraldine L. (Hengst) Mock

Geraldine L. Mock, 85, of Ellis Road, Schellsburg went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 4, 2022, at UPMC Altoona, Blair County.

Mrs. Mock was born on August 11, 1936, in Bedford, daughter of the late Ralph J. and Esther M. (Kauffman) Hengst.

On August 11, 1954, she married Dennis Zane Mock. He preceded her in death on September 16, 2012.

Geraldine is survived by her son- Bryan husband of Carolyn (Beckley) Mock, Schellsburg, 4 grandchildren- Lucas J. husband of Olivia (Webb) Mock, Jenna N. wife of Matthew Miller, Kaleb C. husband of Jeane' (Pauley) Mock and Jacob L. Mock, 4 great grandchildren- Jackson Anthony, William James, Virginia Rose and Lincoln Zane, sister Arlene Frazier and special friend- Richard Price. Along with her parents and husband D. Zane Mock she was preceded in death by daughter- Charlene S. Mock, an infant son- Vincent R. Mock, sisters- Edna Holland, Mary Wilson and Lottie Way and brother- Ronald Hengst.

Geraldine was affiliated with Claysburg Bible Church. She was a member of the Imler Valley Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

Geraldine enjoyed sewing and painting ceramics as well as cooking but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends making memories.

Geraldine was an amazing wife, mother, grandma, great grandma, sister and friend who touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, July 7, 2022, from 4-8PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday July 8, 2022, at 11:00AM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg with Pastor Keith Showalter officiating.

Interment at Bedford County Memorial Park.
