Mr. Gary W. Winesickle, 63, of Duncansville, died at 1:50 PM, Sunday, January 22nd, 2012 at Valley View Nursing Home, Altoona.
Mr. Winesickle was born in Bedford on Wednesday, September 29, 1948, the son of the late Georgia Belle Winesickle. He was reared in the home of his late grandmother, Mary Ann (Calhoun) Winesickle.
He is survived by his companion of 25 years- Norma Stiver, Duncansville; Daughter- Christina wife of Rick Friedenberger, East Freedom; Daughter- Donna wife of John Clinger, Altoona; Daughter- Phyllis Koch, Altoona; Aunt- Flora "Curly" Stiver, Bedford; Aunt- Gladys Winesickle, Bedford. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and a number of cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, aunts, uncles and cousins
Gary was affiliated with the Spring of Hope Church in Altoona. He enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, Bingo, watching Curve Baseball and baseball games at Vets Field. Gary was an avid Penn State Nittany Lions and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.
