Gary S. Stears

Gary S. Stears, age 69, of Manns Choice, PA, passed away on January 16, 2025, at home with his loving wife, Laura, and his furbaby, Pippin, by his side. Gary was born on January 5, 1956, in Canterbury, England, to the late Benjamin and Dorothy Stears.

Gary is survived by his devoted wife, Laura, and his furbaby, Pippin. He was the proud father of Debbie (husband Jamie), Lisa, Michael (wife Jamee), Nikki (husband Michael), Kaci, and Kingston, Jenn, and David. Gary was also the loving grandfather to Gavin, Emersyn, David, Tyler, Shayla, Mason, Kendall, Hailie, Callie, Michael Jay, Lorelai, and King Tyson. He will be deeply missed by his brother, Trevor (wife Debbie) sister, Carol and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Gary was an avid fan of NASCAR, Harley Davidson motorcycles, and the Baltimore Ravens. He loved restoring classic cars, hunting, fishing, crabbing, and shooting pool. Known for his big heart and even bigger appetite for adventure, Gary's presence was felt in every room he entered. He ran the best produce stand in town and was always good for a silly joke.

Gary's memory will live on through his beloved family and the many friends who were blessed to know him. He was a man who loved deeply, worked hard, and made those around him laugh with his wit and warmth.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. May his spirit continue to inspire us all.
