Franklin William Rose

Mr. Franklin William Rose, 74, of Hay Street, Berlin, formerly of Spring Hope Road, Schellsburg, died at 8:00 AM, Wednesday, January 18th, 2012 at Meadow View Nursing Center.

Mr. Rose was born in Baltimore, MD on Thursday, May 27, 1937, the son of the late William F. and Manie Lee (Stuart) Rose.

He is married to Catherine (Selin) Rose.  In addition to his wife he is survived by Daughter- Heather wife of  Darren Cassidy, Everett; Son- William Luther husband of  Dee Shoemaker, Baltimore, MD; Brother- John H. Rose, Linthicum, MD; Brother- William F. Rose, Jr., Pasadena, MD; Brother- Dennis E. Rose, Baltimore, MD; Brother- Roland W. Rose, Baltimore, MD. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Grace Mary Elizabeth Rose-Pope

Frank served in the U.S. Navy.  He was employed as a Millwright at Bethlehem Steel in Sparrows Point, MD, where he retired from and enjoyed collecting coins.

Friends are invited to call on Saturday from 2:00 - 3:30 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.
