Francis K Hill

Francis K. Hill, 91, of Schellsburg, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022 at Donahoe Manor, Bedford, PA.

Francis was born in Bradenville, PA. on April 27, 1931, son of the late Michael A. Hill and Annabelle (Ross) Hill.

On March 17, 1961 he married Judith A. (Gozdick) and she preceded him in death on February 8, 2014.

He is survived by daughter- Janice H. wife of Anthony Eggers, of McKinney, TX.; daughter Lisa A. wife of Martin Duffy, of Schellsburg; son- Jeffrey F. husband of Lisa (Harr), of Alum Bank. Francis is also survived by six grandchildren: Gretchen and Aric Eggers; Ryan and Sean Hill; Austin and Lizabelle Hill. Francis is preceded in death by step father- Raymond McMannis; sister- Dorthy Fletcher and brothers Harry, Merrell, Charles, Michael, and Robert Hill.

Francis was member of the United Methodist Church in Greensburg.

Francis served his country in the United States Air Force for 4 years in Korea. When Francis returned home, he began working at Kennametal as an Inspector for 40 years.

A visitation will be held Friday, December 2, 2022 from 2-7 PM and Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 10-11 AM at the Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.

A service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 11 AM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home with Pastor Ardi Hill officiating.  Interment will be at Schellsburg Cemetery, Schellsburg, PA.

Military rites accorded to the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.

Francis was a loving father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
