Mrs. Frances Annette (O'Brien) Rummel, 50, of Dogwood Road, Bedford died Monday, October 5th, 2015 at her home, surrounded by her family
Mrs. Rummel was born in Snake Spring Twp., on Thursday, October 29, 1964, the daughter of Frank and Thelma (Lane) O'Brien of Everett.
On March 1, 1991, she married Paul L. Rummel, Jr. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by Daughter- Michaela D. (Rummel) wife of Brandon McAlpine, Hamilton, AL; Daughter- Selena R. Rummel, Everett; Son- Nicholas A. Rummel, Bedford; Sister- Kathy wife of Dennis Dibert, Everett; Sister- Karen wife of Lin Karns, Everett; Mother-in-Law- Eileen Rummel Ayers, New Paris; Brother-in-Law- Jonathan husband of Jenna Rummel & their children, Xander and Gracie, Nashville, TN; Sister-in-Law- Julie Rummel wife of Keith Leppert & their children, Brian, Andrew and Jillian, Alum Bank; Nephew- Phillip husband of Lynette Foor & their children, Riley and Briar, Everett; Step-Mother-in-Law- Bonnie Rummel, Schellsburg. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Guy & Neva Lane, brother-in-law, David Foor, father-in-law, Paul L. Rummel, Sr. and stepfather-in-law, Edward Ayers.
Frances was a 1982 graduate of Everett High School and a member of the ACTS Community Church, where she was a volunteer secretary and a member of the Leadership Team. She was employed at the Everett Bank from 1981 - 1994 and worked a the Bluefields Herbery in Bedford. Frances enjoyed making Creative Memories Albums, organizing everything and helping others. She was a loving and kind person and a wonderful wife, daughter, mother, sister, aunt & friend and she will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 10:30 AM on Thursday, October 8th, 2015 with Pastor John Bennett officiating.
Interment will be held at Mock Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home in Bedford.
