Frances M. (Ruppenkamp) Growden

Mrs. Frances M. Growden, 87, of E. Pitt St., Bedford, died at 10:15 AM, Saturday, December 6th, 2014 at her home.

Mrs. Growden was born in Cumberland, MD. on Saturday, June 18, 1927,  the daughter of the late John and Clara (O'Neal) Ruppenkamp.

She was married to Homer C. Growden and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by  Son- Gary husband of  Mary Catherine (Ware) Growden, Centerville; Son- George husband of  Janet (Otto) Growden, Cumberland; Daughter- Linda wife of  Harvey Cole, Bedford; Daughter- Jo Ann Snyder, Ft. Ashby, WV; Son- Thomas Growden, Sr., Bedford; Brother- Edward Ruppenkamp, Cresaptown, MD; Brother- Raymond Ruppenkamp, Cresaptown, MD. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Homer, Jr & Donald Growden, two brothers, Robert & James and a sister, Angela.

Mrs. Growden was a homemaker and a member of the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Bedford.

A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 11th, 2014 with Father Donald Dusza officiating.

Interment will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park.

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home in Bedford.
