Florence E. Smith

Ms. Florence E. Smith, 91, of Bedford, died Sunday, February 11th, 2018 at Donahoe Manor.

Ms. Smith was born in E. St. Clair Township on December 23, 1926,  the daughter of the late Ivory C. and Ethel Pearl (Earnest) Smith.

She is survived by  Brother- Edwin Dale husband of  Emma Jean (Diehl) Smith, New Paris.  and seven nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a brother Charles and two sisters, Laverne and Anna Lois.

Florence was a member of the Point United Methodist Church.  She was a 1945 graduate of Schellsburg-Napier High School.  She was employed as an inspector at Linton Clifton Precision Company in Chester, PA from 1945-1995.  Florence loved to travel, especially outside of the United States.  She visited many foreign countries throughout the years.  Florence also enjoyed skiing.  She was a wonderful sister, aunt and friend and she will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 16th, 2018 with Pastor Shane Siciliano officiating.

Interment will be held at  Fishertown Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Friday from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.
