Florence E. (Conrad) Fisher

Mrs. Florence E. Fisher, 74, of Kildeer Lane, New Paris, died at 9:25 PM, Saturday, February 1st, 2014 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.

Mrs. Fisher was born in E. St. Clair Twp. on Thursday, January 4, 1940,  the daughter of the late Theodore and Gladys (O'Neal) Conrad.

Florence was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Fisher in November of 1996.

She is survived by  Daughter- Vicki K. wife of  Michael Hayden, Huntingtown, MD; Son- Thomas W. Fisher, New Paris; Daughter- Brenda Cox, Reidsville, NC; Son- James D. husband of  Sandy (Even) Fisher, Reading; Son- Daniel E. husband of  Diane (Ernst) Fisher, Reading; Brother- Vincent Conrad, East Freedom; Brother- James Conrad, Chambersburg; Sister- Opal Glackin, Pittsburgh; Sister- Lucy Pittman, Everett; Sister- Rosalie Frey, Chambersburg. She is also survived by two grandsons, Michael and Eric, and one great grandson, Cole. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Conrad.

Florence was a homemaker.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of family.

Interment will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Johnstown.

Arrangements entrusted to Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.
