Florence I. (Sciranko) Zimmerman

Florence I. Zimmerman, 77 of Mountain Road, Bedford, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at UPMC Altoona Hospital, Blair County.

Mrs. Zimmerman was born in Central City, PA on June 11, 1943, daughter of the late Andrew and Irene (Roudabush) Sciranko.

On February 4, 1961 Florence married Clifford Zimmerman. He preceded her in death on October 8, 2005.

She is survived by  Son- Steven M. Zimmerman, Bedford; Daughter- Joy A. wife of  Tim May, Buffalo Mills; Son- Joel T. husband of  Donna Zimmerman, Everett; Grandchildren Cody, Jerimiah, Caleb, Dusty, Kiera, Kiana, Ashley, David and Ty; Brother- Harold Sciranko, Bedford , and 14 great grandchildren.  Florence was preceded in death by brothers- Charles and Richard Sciranko and sister- Shirley Zimmerman.

She was owner/ operator of Zimmerman Shoe Store and also was employed by Sheetz, Holiday Inn, Landmark Restaurant and Washington Bakery throughout her working career.

Florence enjoyed being part of a Ladies Bible Study and Ladies Missionary Class. She also enjoyed reading, walking and trips to the beach but most of all she loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She was a member of Tulls Hill Bible Church, Bedford.

Friends will be received on Monday, January 4, 2021 from Noon-2PM at Tulls Hill Bible Church, Bedford.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 2:00PM at Tulls Hill Bible Church, Bedford  with Pastor Steven Corbett officiating.

Interment at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Buffalo Mills.
