Mrs. Faye L. Whysong, 69, of Manns Choice, beloved wife, sister and aunt, passed away Friday, May 18th, 2012 after a brief illness at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Mrs. Whysong was born on Thursday, April 1, 1943,  the daughter of the late Harry S. and Stella (Suder) Griffith.

In 1968, she married James C. Whysong.  In addition to her husband she is survived by Brother- Paul Griffith, New Buena Vista.  Faye is also survived by many nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Griffith and Glendon Griffith.

Faye was a member of the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Bedford.  She was a graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School and worked as a clerk at Letrent's Pharmacy in Bedford and then at Hedstrom in Bedford until her retirement.

At the request of the deceased, private services will be held at the family's convenience with Father Donald Dosza celebrant.

Interment will be held at  Schellsburg Cemetery.

Arrangements entrusted to Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.
