Mrs. Fannie R. Norris, 82, of W. Cypher Road, Everett, died at 6:08 AM, Wednesday, July 27th, 2011 at her home.

Mrs. Norris was born in Hopewell Township on Friday, December 28, 1928, the daughter of the late Robert R. and Cora A. (Ritchey) Ritchey.

On January 31, 1953, she married Max H. Norris, Sr.  He preceded her in death on December 19, 1996.

She is survived by  Son- Max H. Norris, Jr. husband of  Karla D. (Leach), Everett; Son- Robert  R.  husband of  Rosalyn (Russell) Norris, Everett; Son- Jeffrey C. husband of  Carol (Sparks) Norris, Hopewell; Granddaughter- Heather D. Diehl, who was reared in the home. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

Fannie was a member of the Bethel Church of the Brethren.  She was employed as a payroll clerk with PennDot for 20 years and she was a member and secretary for AFSCME Local 2131 for 19 years.

A funeral service will be held  at Bethel Church of the Brethren, Hopewell Township, PA. at 2:30 PM on Sunday, July 31st, 2011 with Pastor Mark A. Lingenfelter & Pastor Timothy J. Laird officiating.

Interment will be held at Bethel Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Sunday 1:30 - 2:30  at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Everett Free Library, 137 E. Main Street, Everett, PA or to the Haiti Mission Work, c/o Walter Crawford, 361 Grindstone Road, Everett, PA 15537.
