Faith E. Rose

Faith E. Rose, 62, of Buffalo Mills went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Faith was born on August 26, 1962, to the late Fred and Mona Lee Lafferty. Faith was a 1980 graduate from Chestnut Ridge. Faith married her high school sweetheart Norman A. Rose on August 30, 1980. She proudly followed her Marine husband from state to state during his 21 years of service, always working in either retail or food service. After Norman's retirement from the Marine Corps, Faith worked at the Bedford Elementary School in the cafeteria, Later she worked in dietary at the State Prison in Somerset, retiring in 2016.

Faith loved her family and dachshunds. Faith was a member of the Manns Choice Church of God. Faith was a giving person. She volunteered in the kitchen at church during special meals and baking cakes for special events. She helped monthly at the food bank in Hyndman. Faith made and delivered many meals for widower neighbors. She volunteered with the Church of God Men and Women of Action group helping after hurricanes in Florida and North Carolina.

Faith was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Lester. She is survived by her husband Norman, a son Norman II, wife Lori, a brother Fred, wife Brenda, 2 grandchildren Leah and Austin and numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, including a very special niece, Charity.

At Faith's request she will be cremated and a Going Home / Celebration of Life will be planned for the spring time, Faith's favorite time of year.

From her husband Honey you always were and still are WOMAN, Thank you for the best 44 years of my life. I will always Love and miss you, I will never forget you because of all the wonderful memories we have made. I will see you when I get there.
