Fae (Houck) Stake

Fae Stake, 99, of Bedford passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Colonial Courtyard, Bedford, PA.

Fae was born in Dudley on February 1, 1923, daughter of the late Leo and Enda (Mullen) Houck.

On March 9, 1946 she married her husband Harold E. Stake, who preceded her in death on February 14, 2005.

She is survived by daughter- Sue A. wife of Jerry Dunkle, of Mount Union; son- Terry husband of Judy (Rader) Stake, of Hilton Head, SC; grandson- Sean husband of Karen Stake, of Nashville, TN; grandson- Kevin husband of Jennifer Stake, of Missoula, MT; granddaughter- Jamie wife of Kyle DeMent, of Mount Pleasant, SC; granddaughter- Keli wife of Joe Danish, of Shirleysburg, PA; and seven great-grandchildren. Fae is preceded in death by sister Vera Blackburn and brother Mearle Houck.

Fae was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Bedford Elks.

She was a Medical Assistant for different doctors. Fae loved golf, reading, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery in Saxton.
