Eugene "Gene" W. Ford

Eugene "Gene" W. Ford, 81, of Mexico Road, Everett, died on Friday, August 28, 2020 at his home.

Mr. Ford was born in Snake Spring Twp. on March 6, 1939, son of the late Walter and Dorothy (Wolfhope) Ford.

On February 27, 1960 Gene marred G. Jean (Wambaugh) Ford. She preceded him in death on May 15, 2016.

He is survived by  Son- Timothy husband of  Judy (Whitcomb) Ford, Everett; Daughter- Krystal wife of  Aaron Turkenton, East Freedom; Granddaughter- Latisha Wilkins, Manns Choice; Great-grandchildren Hank, Blake and Brett; Brother- James Ford, Everett; Sister- Shirley Ford, Everett.  Gene was preceded in death by his parents, wife, infant children- Jeffrey and Rosemary and Brother- Sheldon Ford.

He was self-employed at Ford Lawn Service for 28 years and also worked for Bedford Borough.

Gene enjoyed NASCAR, going camping and spending time with family and friends. Gene will be greatly missed by all.

He was a member of  St. John's Evangelist Catholic Church.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John's Evangelist Catholic Church, Everett. at 11:00AM on Wednesday, September 2, 2020  with Father Derek Fairman-celebrant and Pastor John Bennett. Mask are suggested and we ask that you please practice social distancing.

Interment at St. Thomas Cemetery, Bedford.
