Eugene "Gene" P. Fisher

Eugene "Gene" P.  Fisher, age 80, of New Baltimore, formerly of Bedford,  passed away Friday, May 7th, 2021 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.

Mr. Fisher was born in New Baltimore, on April 19, 1941,  he was the son of the late Cletus and Gladys (Fochtman) Fisher.

Gene was the  the general manager for Dairy Dell's, Landmarks, and Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants for over 40 years.

He was a member of  St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Baltimore.  Gene was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing, and woodworking.  He was a member of the Bedford Sportsman's Club, New Baltimore Sprotsman's Club, and the Buckers Hunting Club.

He was the widower of Susan A. (Cuppett)  Fisher, whom he married on December 3, 1960 and she preceded him in death on April 5, 2003.

He is survived by  Daughter- Theresa L. wife of  Robert Davis, Central City; Son- James E. husband of  Debbie (Suhrie) Fisher, Bedford; Sister- Madeline Stairs, Somerset; Brother- Ed Fisher, New Baltimore. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Kristy, Devon, Tyler and wife Vanessa, Danika, and Samantha.  Gene was preceded in death by a special friend Laura Costello.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford with a vigil service at 2:30.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Baltimore, PA. at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 12th, 2021 with Fr Mark Pattock celebrant.

Committal Service will be held at the St. John's Cemetery New Baltimore, PA.

Memorial contributions may be made to New Baltimore Sportsmans Club.
