Mrs. Ethel M. Broderick, 92, of Main Road, Bedford, died Sunday, December 17th, 2017 at Pennknoll Village.
Mrs. Broderick was born in Bedford on July 23, 1925, the daughter of the late Ellis and Sarah (Robinson) Diehl.
She is survived by Daughter- Anne wife of Senator Donald White, Indiana, PA; Son- Michael husband of Lori (Feather) Broderick, Everett; Granddaughter- Dr. Abby White wife of Kristofer Youtz; Grandson- Matthew husband of Lauren (Cornell) Broderick; Great Grandchildren- Ben, Toby and Luke; Brother- Robert husband of Sally Diehl, Friends Cove. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Ben White, her sisters, Mary Louise Koontz and Helen Wertz and her brothers, A. James Diehl, Fred Diehl, and Roger Diehl.
Ethel was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ. She was employed at Sears for 37 years. Ethel was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held at Trinity United Church of Christ, Colerain Township at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 20th, 2017 with Rev. Paul Claycomb officiating.
Interment will be held at Trinity United Church of Christ Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the church.
