Esther Arlene (Hengst) Frazier

E. Arlene Frazier, 91, of Bedford, Jesus called her home on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at her home on Belden Road.

Arlene was born in Bedford on November 26, 1932, daughter of the late Ralph and Margaret (Kauffman) Hengst.

On June 29, 1955, she married her husband Kermit C. Frazier, who preceded her in death on March 10, 2014.

She is survived by daughter-Anna P. Johnson, of Everett; son- David E. husband of Tammy (Wyles) Frazier, of Bedford; daughter- Christine A. Frazier, of Bedford; along with seven grandchildren: Andrew (AJ), Ashley, Joshua, Jennifer, Kassi, Heather, and Hannah; ten great-grandchildren: Faith, Hunter, Gary, Braden, Callen, Cameron, Addison, Hayden, Owen and Bentley; and her dog April. Arlene is preceded in death by daughters: Rita and Donna; sisters: Edna, Lottie, Mary, Geraldine and brother Ronald.

Esther was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, WoodmenLife, Bedford Grange. She was also an Avon Representative.

She was employed at Black Oak Ridge, Five Gables, Roll Arena, at the Carriage House and the Everett Shoe Factory.

A visitation will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services Inc., Bedford.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 11 AM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services Inc., Bedford with Pastor David Wright officiating.

Interment will be at Messiah Church Cemetery, Bedford, PA.
