Mr. Emory W. "Junior" Croyle, Jr., 77, of Shawnee Road, Schellsburg, died at 7:30 AM, Tuesday, May 8th, 2012 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Croyle was born in Fishertown on Saturday, June 16, 1934,  the son of the late Emory S. and Carrie (Fink) Croyle.

On March 1, 1968, he married Jean P. (Phillips) Croyle.  She preceded him in death on October 16, 2010.

He is survived by  Son- David E. Bowser, Carlisle; Sister- Eva Turner, Bedford; Sister- Audrey Young, Schellsburg. He is also survived by one granddaughter, Carissa Ann Bowser. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sue Ellen Croyle, a sister, Alice McVicker and a brother, Donald Croyle

Junior was a member of the Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church.  He  co-owned the Lakeview Lounge & Restaurant with his late wife for over 40 years.  He served in the Army during the Korean War.  Junior was a lifetime member of the Schellsburg VFW Post #4440 and the Bedford American Legion Post #113.  He was a member of the Bedford Masonic Lodge #320 F&AM, the Harrisburg Consistory and the Jaffa Temple in Altoona.  Junior was also a member of the Shawnee Valley Volunteer Fire Department and the Shawnee Valley Ambulance Company.

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 11th, 2012 with Pastor Daniel Oldham officiating.

Interment will be held at  Bedford County Memorial Park Bedford, PA.

Graveside Military Rites will be accorded by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
