Emily J. (Rose) Kegg

Mrs. Emily J. Kegg, 65, of Main Street, Manns Choice, died Monday, December 12th, 2016 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.

Mrs. Kegg was born in New Paris on Thursday, November 22, 1951,  the daughter of the late Edmund and Etta Pearl (Wissinger) Rose.

On September 30, 1977, she married James K. Kegg.  He preceded her in death on June 26, 2003.

She is survived by  Daughter- Etta Kegg, Everett; Brother- Jim Rose, Alexandria; Sister- Virginia Smith, Bradenton, FL. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and a number of great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca and a brother, Joe Rose.

Emily was a homemaker.  She was a member of the Bedford Moose Lodge #480 and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Bedford American Legion Post #113.  Emily was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend and she will be greatly missed.

Services for Mrs. Kegg will be held privately with interment at Bedford County Memorial Park.
