Elfrieda M. (Weyant) Harclerode

Mrs. Elfrieda M. Harclerode, 92, of St. Clairsville, formerly of Bedford died at 7:45 PM, Thursday, April 14th, 2011 at Pennknoll Village.

Mrs. Harclerode was born in Bedford on Thursday, June 20, 1918,  the daughter of the late Robert E. and Myrtle M. (Jay) Weyant.

On November 15, 1958, she married Wallace T. Harclerode.  He preceded her in death on August 6, 1994.

She is survived by  Son- George R. Beckett, Berlin; Daughter- Carole wife of  Robert Lott, Yorktown, VA; Daughter- Patricia wife of  Gordon Kinzey, Bedford; Daughter- Margaret Fleegle, Bedford; Daughter- Connie wife of  Donald Stiffler, Bedford; Daughter- Sharon wife of  William Bowser, Osterburg; Sister- Beverly wife of  Percy Beegle, Bedford. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren,  seven great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William Weyant, a sister, Katherine Stevenson and a grandson, Kevin Beckett

Mrs. Harclerode was a homemaker and a member of the Colonial Hills Baptist Church, where she had been the oldest member of the church.

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 18th, 2011 with Pastor Joseph Shawley officiating.

Interment will be held at Schellsburg Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
