Edward O Strayer

Edward O. Strayer, 64, of Lincoln Highway Bedford, died at 6:10 PM, Tuesday, October 23rd, 2018 at his home. Ed was born in Snake Spring, PA on July 22, 1954,  he was the son of the late Orville and Lucinda Strayer. Mr. Strayer was reared by his Grandmother.
He was a Mechanic at R & N Tire Company Everett for 11 years where he retired from and also was employed by Penn Tire Bedford where he was employed for 33 and half years.
Ed was a member of the American Legion Post 113 and a member of the Charter Sons of American Legion.
He was the husband of Sherry L. (Callihan) Strayer whom he married on February 11, 1991. In addition to his wife Ed is survived by Sister- Virginia Frazier, Chambersburg; Father-in-Law Leroy "Spud" L. Callihan, Fishertown; Sister-in-Law Holly F. Lins, Fishertown. Ed is preceded in death by his Brother Gary Strayer. Friends will be received Friday October 26, 2018 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home.
Service will be held on Saturday October 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Pastor James Neatrour officiating.
Interment will be held at Stone Church Cemetery Fishertown, PA.
