Edna Nellie Marlin, 58, of Bedford, died Tuesday, May 26th, 2015 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.
Miss Marlin was born in Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring on Tuesday, July 17, 1956, she was the daughter of Charles George Marlin of Three Springs and the late Virginia Olive Mae (Sparks) Marlin.
In addition to her father, she is survived by Sister- Arlene O. Marlin, Roaring Spring; Sister- Louise F. wife of Dave Fisher, Newville; Brother- Charles Marlin, Columbus, MS; Brother- Jesse Marlin, Waterfall. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Lori Stewart, wife of Jim of Roaring Spring and by dear friends, Kerry & Michael Whitcomb and their family of Bedford.
Edna was a graduate of Tussy Mountain High School and attended the Faith Assembly of God Church in Roaring Spring. She was employed for many years at the Cornerstone Vocational Resource Center, formerly the Bedford Workshop and previously worked at Burger King in Bedford. Edna participated in the Special Olympics for many years. She enjoyed puzzles and crossword books, adored animals and loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. Edna was a kind and loving sister, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Everett, PA. at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 30th, 2015.
Interment will be held at Providence Union Cemetery, W. Providence Township.
Friends are invited to call on Saturday from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the funeral home in Everett.
