Mr. Earl A. Fisher, 87, of Buena Road, Schellsburg, died at 3:45 PM, Wednesday, March 12th, 2014 at Donahoe Manor.

Mr. Fisher was born in Juniata Township on Sunday. August 1, 1926,  he son of the late Mae Pearl (Fisher) Mowry.  He was reared by his grandparents, the late Albert and Ida Mae (Hillegass) Fisher.

On June 7, 1951, he married Ella Mary (Egolf) Fisher.  In addition to his wife he is survived by Son- Kenneth W. husband of  Georgina (Armstrong) Fisher, Schellsburg; Son- Stephen J. husband of  Donna (Horner) Fisher, Osterburg; Half Brother- Donald Mowry, York. He is also survived by four granddaughters, Mandy, wife of Brian Leonard, Julie, wife of Eric Hoffman, Kelly, wife of Adam Winegardner and Stacey, wife of Dan Whysong, and five great grandchildren, Ava, Nathan, Caleb, Ella & Levi. He was preceded in death by his Uncle Ray Fisher.

Earl was a member of the St. Mark's Christ Victory Church in New Buena Vista.  He was employed as an equipment operator for PennDot for 26 years and was a member of the Spicer Creek Hunting Club.

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 15th, 2015 with Pastor Pat Murphy officiating.

Interment will be held at Schellsburg Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home in Schellsburg.
