Dorothy P. "Dot" (Clites) Morgart

Mrs. Dorothy P. "Dot"  Morgart,77, of Bowser Road, New Paris (Ryot), died at 11:25 AM, Saturday, March 31st, 2012 at her home.

Mrs. Morgart was born in Bedford Township on Thursday, August 2, 1934, the daughter of the late Henry and Elva (Hazelette) Clites.

On April 10, 1953, she married Harry R. "Dick" Morgart.  He preceded her in death on June 13, 2009.

She is survived by  Son- Richard W."Dick" husband of  Kathy (Harclerode) Morgart, Schellsburg; Son- Joel L. Morgart. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Heather, Kassi, Chad, J.R., and Joelle, two step grandchildren, Misty and Brandy,  three great granddaughters, Paige, Hazelyn and Brynn. She was preceded in death by two brothers, William Clites and George Clites and by a sister Betty Bennett

Dot was a member of the former Ryot United Methodist Church.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Bedford Spring Chapter # 41.  Dot was an avid bowler, bowling in leagues in Bedford, Altoona and Johnstown and was a member of the PA State United States Bowling Conference.

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 4th, 2012 with Pastor Daniel Oldham officiating.

Interment will be held at  Old Stone Church Cemetery, Fishertown.

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
