Doris I. (Fickes) Cripe

Doris I. (Fickes) Cripe, 89, of Imler, passed away peacefully on November 9th, 2016 at the Village at Morrison Cove.

Mrs. Cripe was born in Imler on September 17th, 1927, a daughter of the late J. Russell Fickes and K. Omelia (Corl) Fickes-Ake.

Doris is survived by a daughter, Brenda Kagarise of Breezewood, a granddaughter, Angela Bussard of Breezewood, a great grandson, Joshua Emilson of Coon Rapids, MN, sister Shirley Nicodemus of Imler and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and stepfather, Glenn Ake, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Cripe, infant son, Larry Wayne, granddaughter, Denise Baker, brothers, Bernard, Donald, and Zane Fickes and a sister Connie Gauthier.

Reverend Donna J. Wolfinger with be officiating a graveside service on Saturday, November 19th, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Osterburg Community Cemetery.  A meal will follow at St. Peter's Lutheran Church.

In lieu of flowers, Doris requested that donations be made to your favorite charity.
